The Village Treasurer is responsible for the collection of utility bills, Village taxes, and other monies paid to the Village of Three Oaks including franchise fees, leases, and State revenue sharing. The Village Treasurer is responsible for depositing Village funds and reporting the same to the Village President. The Treasurer is also charged with safely keeping accurate records of all bonds and notes of the Village.
Village property taxes are mailed to property owners once a year in early July and are due September 14. After September 14 of each year, all uncollected real property taxes are considered late and a penalty will be issued. Tax payments can be made at Village Hall until February 28. After that, all payments must be sent to Berrien County.
